Leadership

James serves as Lead Pastor.  He also works full time for the City of Willard.  His wife Adavee serves as the Office Administrator and is a part of the Worship Team. They have been married since 2004 and have two teenagers. A daughter Lydia and a son Ethan.

James started attending the church in the late 90's.  He was called to preach under Pastor Doc Burrows and spent time as a Youth Pastor.  He was ordained in 2014 and served as an Associate Pastor.   On November 22, 2020, the Church voted James as Lead Pastor.

Pastor Will was called to ministry at 16 while attending teen camp. As a teen he served on the district impact team & even traveled to Europe his freshman year at MVNU with the choir. While at college, Will tried to run from his call. Five years later while attending district family camp he committed to that call, during an altar call at the final service.

Will began serving at the youth at the Ashland Church of the Nazarene.  In 2014, he was called to serve at Galion Nazarene, the church he attended as a youth & originally felt called to ministry.  He later served as the Intergenerations Pastor. Will came on staff in June of 2025 and currently has his district license and taking courses toward ordination 

Amanda grew up attending Sunday school at Bethel Baptist in Savannah, Ohio with her siblings. When she met Will she began attending church with him in Ashland. In 2010 she started attending a small group where she felt called to become a member of the Nazarene church & be baptized.

In 2014 the late Rev. Rick McCartney asked Amanda to serve as the Children’s Director. Amanda was not sure she was “good enough” to serve in that capacity however after prayer God reminded her that he doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called. Amanda served faithfully at Galion Nazarene (aka Real Life Naz) for 11 years. Amanda came on staff in September of 2025 and is working towards ordination.
